THE EMILY PROGRAM - Job Opening
The Art Therapist will primarily work at our 24/7 residential facility, the Anna Westin House, but also do a couple hours with our intensive group programs in St. Paul. This position will work 16-20 hours per week. The Emily Program has established programs and duties for the Art Therapist and the person hired will be trained by our current Art Therapist.

Qualifications

  • ATR (Registered Art Therapist) is required with Master’s level degree.
  • Experience in art therapy at a mental health facility and with adults is preferred.
  • Experience working with eating disorder (ED) population is preferred; interest in working with ED population is required.
  • Confident; able to work independently and with others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, customer relations, interpersonal, multi-tasking and organizational skills

Job Opportunity

Northwest Counseling and Guidance Clinic, Day Treatment Programs, is looking for a full or part time art therapist to provide group therapy services to adolescent day treatment programs at their sites in Eau Claire, Menomonee, Ellsworth, Amery and Superior or any variation of those sites.  The position would be responsible for providing group art therapy to children and adolescents with mental illnesses, behavioral problems and emotional disorders as part of the day treatment curriculum.  Candidates must be a Registered and Board Certified Art Therapist with their Wisconsin Art Therapy Registration, and have at least 1 year's experience working with children and adolescents with mental illnesses.  Please send cover letter and resume to Iris Ostenson at P.O.
