My passion is painting for myself
  • College of St. Catherine's B.A. and Wright State University M.A. Art Therapy. 

  • Course work in Counseling and Psychotherapy and Education for K-8. 

  • Art Therapist since 1982. 

  • I have worked in long-term health care with elderly and young adults with various diagnosis. (I also worked as a nursing asst. prior to working 
    as an art therapist.) Pre-schoolers with emotional disturbances. 

  • Special education K-6 with physical, mental and emotional needs. 

  • Support groups for children from single parent families. 

 

  • I  found an Art at the Bedside program being done
    through the Rochester Art Center.  A pilot study was
    done last year with hematology patients.  They want Art
    Educators.  I have experience doing art with and teaching 
    art to many types of populations. 
  • I've volunteered hundreds of hours doing acrylic
    paintings for the Quarry Hill nature center here and
    at my church (murals and nature scenes, children's
    chairs etc.)
  • I also did a watercolor class for a retreat with my
    women's church group.
