Heisenfelt
Faces from the Forest for those who
have a desire
to draw from within themselves as they witness the
withered and worn, twisted
and torn body parts of trees, rearranged into expressions that cry out for a
voice.
The voice may be prose or poetry, examples of which
are amply supplied. Transcending their
malignantly healed
wounds, analogies to the human conditions weave in
and out like spaghetti through meatballs.
A user-friendly,
sketching demonstration precedes,
to guide the participants into their
own personal
interpretation in art and writing.

Lisa Lounsbury B.A.
Art Therapy Student
www.lisalounsbury.com
“Who Am I?” – a
self-portrait collage workshop exploring your identity.
Using the rich power of
color, we represent the texture of our past through a creative tissue
paper layering process. Participants are urged to accept that they are
not defined by their life’s circumstances and that they are worthy and
loved, just as they are. The end result is a tool for new thought
direction that promotes spiritual healing.
This is a fun and easy
2 hour workshop for anyone. You do not need to be an artist to attend
and the classes are $20 each. Each participant will complete an 8”
tall original piece.
Monthly workshops are
held in Lisa Lounsbury’s home studio in Golden Valley. Please call
612-226-5472 or send an email to Lisapainter@comcast.net
for schedule information.
