Lucy Grantz
Lucy Grantz, MA is an artist and an Art Therapist whose persistent fascination with the human experience is the predominant influence on her ceramic sculpture. She is interested in examining beyond mundane levels of existence, and travels to terrain that is unfamiliar and unconventional. The sculptures are formed in a unique and refined style that compels us to look more deeply within ourselves. Lucy's award winning work has been featured in Twin Cities publications, including the Star Tribune and the Pioneer Press. She has exhibited in various Twin Cities locations and elsewhere and is a former Rosalux Gallery member. In addition to her artwork, Lucy teaches art classes which explore the nature of creative thought, and the benefits of living life more creatively. Lucy Grantz received her BA in studio art from the Colorado College and her MA in Art Therapy from the University of Illinois in Chicago.
CLASSES

TRANSCEND YOUR INNER CRITIC
Thursday, 4/10/08, 6:30 - 9:00pm $30

All of us are stopped in our tracks at some point by our inner voice of
self-judgment. Using art, you will "meet" your inner critic and
visualize how you would like to transform this critic. Making the
critic visible using art is a powerful way to create change. Questions?

TRUE SELF COLLAGE
Thursday, 5/8/08, 6:30 - 9:30pm $30

We all have a True Self that sometimes becomes buried in our day to day
lives and stresses. During this collage-making class, you will become
reacquainted with that True Self, while also creating a visual
representation of your True Self that will serve as a reminder of who
you really are.
