Art Therapy
Artmaking in a therapeutic context can provide a channel to nonverbal knowing that resides in the body and the psyche. When allowed to emerge in a safe way, that knowledge can enable an individual to literally draw upon inner strengths and make choices in new and healing ways.

MNATA Speaker's Bureau: I am available to speak about art therapy with teen aged mothers.
I have a presentation called
"Nurturing Young Mothers Through Making Photo Quilts"

Discover your own language through art
Also I offer group art making sessions with activities that do not require previous art experience. Through a series of projects using many different materials, we will explore our own unique ways of expression with color and form. These can allow exploration and play with who we are now and who we are creating ourselves to be.

Art can complement and deepen a group retreat or theme-based meeting as it brings feelings and unverbalized awareness into form. I can design and offer activities that help to facilitate your group’s focus or intention.
