“Voice and Reason” Minnesota Art Therapy Association Community Quilt
A MNATA member event of connection and reflection. What is the "Voice and Reason" of being an Art Therapist in today's world. What makes us proud to be an art therapist in MN? Special thanks to our members who created a tile for the quilt: Lisa Lounsbury, Mara Coyle, Auden O’Connell, Juliana Thrall, Craig Balfany, Kristin Kane, Nikki Witt, Heather Matson and Taylor Vance. “Voice and Reason” will be available for bidding at the silent auction event.

We are currently working towards a Licensure for Art Therapists Minnesota to increase available mental health clinicians available to meet the needs of Minnesotans. We are also working with NAMI to fight for mental health rights of Minnesotans within the legislative body as well as with Minnesota Coalition for the Arts to help increase arts access across the state.

The Minnesota Art Therapy Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and advancement of the art therapy profession in Minnesota. We aim to build connections within the health care community, related professional organizations, and community based programs increase access to art therapy across the state.

​Proceeds from our fundraising will be used for:

Submission of a Bill to gain Art Therapy Licensure in Minnesota
Annual Symposium to train Art Therapists
Educational workshops and events for the public
Community outreach including participation with Minnesota Coalition for the Arts and NAMI Mental Health Day on the Hill
Website maintenance and other communication fees
